Peak Performance Therapy
Peak Performance Therapy is a men’s sexual wellbeing service focused on erectile function, pelvic floor function and practical support. Shockwave therapy is now the main physical treatment used, with ultrasonic cavitation or therapeutic ultrasound sometimes included where appropriate.
Treatment also includes pelvic floor muscle exercises and pelvic floor stretches, because some men need better strength and coordination while others also need help relaxing excessive pelvic floor tension.
This service does not replace medical assessment. Erectile changes can have vascular, hormonal, neurological, medication-related and psychological causes.
Shockwave therapy is currently the main physical modality used within Peak Performance Therapy.
Ultrasonic cavitation / therapeutic ultrasound may also be included in selected cases where appropriate.
Pelvic floor muscle exercises are taught to improve awareness, contraction and coordination. Pelvic floor stretches are also used where relaxation and mobility need attention rather than simply adding more strengthening work.
The combination used depends on what you are experiencing, what assessment you have already had and how your body responds.
The initial Peak Performance protocol includes 12 treatments.
- 2 treatments per week for 3 weeks
- 3-week break
- 2 treatments per week for a further 3 weeks
Individual treatment price: $125
Value of 12 treatments: $1,500
12-treatment initial protocol: $1,125
You save: $375
After the Initial Protocol
Ongoing treatment is tailored to the individual. Follow-up appointments may be scheduled approximately every 4, 8 or 12 weeks depending on how you respond, your goals and your individual circumstances.
An 8-treatment follow-up pack is $750, compared with a full individual value of $1,000.
Pelvic Floor Training & Stretching
Pelvic floor work is not just about doing more contractions. Some men benefit from better strength and coordination, while others also need to learn how to relax a pelvic floor that stays unnecessarily tense. Exercises and stretches are taught as part of the service where appropriate.
A Practical Men’s Sexual Wellbeing Service
Peak Performance starts with a conversation about what has been happening, what medical or allied-health assessment you have already had and what you want help with.
Shockwave therapy is currently the main treatment modality. Ultrasound-based treatment may also be used in selected cases, and pelvic floor exercises and stretches give you practical work to continue between appointments.
Results vary and no outcome is guaranteed.
Medical Assessment Still Matters
New or persistent erectile dysfunction can sometimes be associated with broader health issues. Medical assessment is particularly important where symptoms are sudden, painful, unexplained, occur after surgery or injury, or occur alongside cardiovascular symptoms, medication changes or other health concerns.
Core Benefits does not ask clients to stop prescribed medication or replace medical treatment. Where something falls outside our scope, referral to an appropriate health professional comes first.
